NDS Viewtiful joe ds

Early on in the DS's pre-release life, Capcom announced plans to release Viewtiful Joe for the system. Then, all went quiet on the game's development -- until now.

Clover Studio, the Capcom studio responsible for development of the Viewtiful Joe series has posted a hint at its website suggesting that Viewtiful Joe will see unveiling for the DS next week. A weekly column at the site that focuses on game development ends with a blurb promising that next week's column will have the theme of the Nintendo DS. This is followed by a statement that asks readers to ponder what the DS version of Viewtiful Joe will be like.

So, we can clearly expect an update from the studio on Viewtiful Joe DS next week, or at the very least, some hints at how the studio will go about using the DS for future projects, including Viewtiful Joe. Whatever the case, stay tuned to IGNDS for more as it happens.

Das bedeutet also, dass wir zum Jubiläum von Viewtiful Joe am GameCube erste Screens zu Capcoms Werk am NDS sehn, wir können gespannt sein, nachdem ich Spiderman 2 in Bewegung gesehn habe, ist die Latte für 2D Jump'n'Runs imo sehr hoch gesetzt

Das denke ich auch, vielleicht nicht so gute Kantenglättung wie beim GC, aber sonst bestimmt fast identisch.

Hinweise auf der Entwickler Homepage

Auf der Homepage des Entwicklers (Clover Studio) der DS Version von Viewtiful Joe gibt es eine Rubrik, die sich wöchentlich mit Spieleentwicklung befasst. Am Ende der dieswöchigen Ausgabe dieser Rubrik wird gesagt, dass die nächste Woche im Zeichen des DS stünde und dass man sich schon einmal Gedanken machen solle, wie ein Viewtiful Joe für den DS aussehen könnte. Für alle Viewtiful Joe Fans heißt es jetzt also Tage zählen, bis sie weitere Informationen zum DS Titel erhalten.

Das hoffe ich doch auchmal. Wozu sollte ich mir den eine 1:1 Umsetzung holen!? Außerdem will ich noch ein paar nette DS-Features. Ein Wireless-Coop-Multiplayer oder so...

Capcom updated die japanische VJ DS site und gibt einen hochdetailierten screenshot gleich oben drauf. Es ist zwar garnichts zu erkennen, aber ich hab mal ein paar filter drübergelegt und ein wenig schärfe rausgeholt, hier ist mein ergebnis[links original, rechts bearbeitet]:

Alles was man drauf erkennen kann scheint ein charakter zu sein, höchstwahrscheinlich ein spielbarer. Mehr kann man leider bei bestem Willen nichtmehr aus dem Screen rausholen, der rest ist zu stark fragmentiert...

[EDIT] Hab dem Bild doch noch was entlocken können, der obere teil sah etwas zu seltsam aus, als wäre da nichts gewesen, also hab ichs mal mit nem kantenunschärfefilter etwas verändert, das ergebnis ist, naja sowas wie ein blauer wolf der die zunge rausstreckt, nur meine interpretation ^^

Mist ich hatte mal son programm da konnte man grobkorn-filter mit aufschlüsseln.
Hat auch bei diesem Robbiewilliams ding auf seiner HP gefunzt.

Wenn ich das finde könnte man da noch einiges rausholen :|
