Amped:
Presentation
You can tweak all options easily, and the menus are so well designed and entertaining that you'll find yourself just listening for the sweet click that comes with selecting an option. 10.0
Graphics
Stunning. The boarders are filled with tiny details, and the levels are breathtaking, both in realism, and just sheer size. This is one of the best examples of the hardware power yet. 9.5
Sound
The insane number of songs (150) and the sound effects (great) make this a total and complete treat for the ears. 8.5
Gameplay
The controls can be a bit quirky, but they're fun once you get used to them. If there's fault to Amped, it's that the challenge level is a little too low key at times. 8.0
Lasting Appeal
There's a ton to do here, and you can do it in any order you feel. There's no real multiplayer, however, though you can play with your friends in turns. 8.5
OVERALL SCORE (not an average) 8.5
Transworld:
Presentation
Boring menus, limited riders, no create-a-rider, limited tracks, bugs, and limited options that behave strangely bring this score down. 5.0
Graphics
Like a Monet, looks great from a distance but as soon as you get up close... 7.0
Sound
Lots of tracks to choose from, plus the ability to use your own soundtracks. Effects are weak though. 7.0
Gameplay
Not enough variation in goals and levels, and I've never had to try so hard to actually crash. 6.0
Lasting Appeal
Unlockable videos and multi-player modes help stretch this game out, but not by much. 6.0
OVERALL SCORE (not an average) 6.7
