Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, the game where you play as a family with a cursed bloodline that only permits them to live on for two years has a lot to offer, so Sony Computer Entertainment Japan put together the latest trailer that touches on key parts of the game.
The trailer starts out with a brief recap of the game’s story, explaining how Abeno Seimei slaughtered an entire family. This family was then revived thanks to the goddess Nueko, but in exchange, they are cursed and will only live a lifespan of two years.
In order to defeat Abeno Seimei, the family must take on all kinds of different oni by exploring various dungeons and continuing the family tree to keep the fight going.
In order to keep the family growing, players will need to perform rituals with gods and deities using “Dedication Points” to pass on the genes of the characters before they go on to the afterlife. There are different job classes like the recently introduced Monk and Cannoneer, so you can put together your best party to take on the ventriloquist villain.
Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines will be released on July 17, 2014 for PlayStation Vita in Japan, and it will also be coming to the west later on.
