Für IW ist es das zweite Spiel für 360 und nur erstes für die PS3. Außerdem ist die 360 die Leadplatform. Sollte die PS3-Version auch nur halbwegs an die 360-Version rankommen, wäre es ein sehr guter Beweis für die gewaltige Rohleistung der PS3.

Guys, I have been seeing lots of folks talking about how they are going to be getting the shaft on PS3. Once and for all, let me say, CoD4 on the PS3 is going to KICK *****!

We have had some of the most talented developers in the world working on the PS3 version since day one. Before they had anything to work with with CoD4, they were taking CoD2 and bringing it over to the PS3. This gave them a massive understanding of how the PS3 hardware works (and only took them a few months). As soon as CoD4 was ready to be under full development, that team began optimizing the game for the PS3. Which was in month 4 or 5 I believe.

We just blew Sony's socks off at E3. They wanted to know why all 3rd party games didn't have console parity like we do. They are EXTREMELY excited about CoD4 for the PS3.

Crysis For PS3? Could Crytek Be Following In Epic’s Footsteps?

EA’s Senior Producer, Dan Blackstone walks us through Crysis.

If you were a PC game which console would you make your way to — The Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3? Let us think about the recent course of events for a moment and examine the facts.
Could Crytek be following in the footsteps of Epic? There has been a job post on Crytek’s official site looking for a PS3 developer for several months now, however when asked about it Crytek declined to comment.
The job opening itself may be all the fuel Playstation 3 fans need, however we would like to add some more. Take into consideration the course of events that took place recently between Sony and Epic.

soviel ich weiss hat einer der yerli brüder mal in nem interview gesagt das er ein game auf die ps3 bringen will als herausforderung weil sie so schwer zu programmieren sei

Steht auch in der Quelle, dass seit Monaten nach nem PS3 programmierer gesucht wird.
Wenn ich mich recht entsinne, stand in PC Mags, sie wollen die Crysis-Engine den Konsolenentwicklern schmackhaft machen, um so mehr Lizenzeinnahmen zu bekommen.
Die Far Cry Engine wurde auch hochgelobt, aber von Dritten nicht genutzt.

Zudem ergäbe eine Umsetzung nur für die PS3 keinen Sinn, ist doch EA der Publisher!

Das mit CoD4 freut mich. Crysis auf PS3... halte es für ein Gerücht, toll wäre es aber allemal...

Natürlich kommt dieses Spiel auch für 360 und PS3, gleiches Ambiente, aber anderes Game, wie bei FC Instincts. Würde mich persönlich nicht wundern, wenn es sogar für den Wii kommt.
Hoffentlich ist man diesmal gründlicher.

Crytek hat noch ein Studio in der Ukraine. Die tüfteln bereits an einem anderen Game auf Basis der CryEngine 2.0 .

Ich habe es vor langer Zeit schon gesagt, Cytek hat in ihren DE Studio eine eigene PS3 Forschung/Entwicklung/Middleware Abteilung, so eine Investitin ist nicht ohne Grund.
Ob nun Crysis oder ein eigenes Game ist eine andere Frage, jedenfalls kommt von Crytek etwas für die PS3 .....

Das Spiel wird im Moment für keine Konsole kommen aber Crytek wird schon ein Spiel auf Basis der Engine bringen^^

naja eine PC entwicklung ist meist nicht 1:1 auf konsolen realisierbar da die architektur eine völlig andere ist! von konsolen portet man hingegen leichter zum pc weil am pc weniger getrickst werden muss...
