Das neue Suikoden soll am 09.02.2012 in Japan in die Läden kommen. Der Preis wird Yen 5.980 sein und darüber hinaus gibt es noch ein paar Bilder.

Das Cover erinnert an alte Suikodenteile...hoffentlich ein Hinweis darauf, das es auch wirklich ein Suikoden und kein 2tes Tierkreis wird.

Suikoden Lets Players Customize Characters With Jobs And Sub Jobs

We mentioned before how Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century has a Lost Odyssey style skill system where characters inherit abilities by fighting with their ancestors. Dengeki PlayStation explained the latest issue you can further customize characters using the game’s sub job system. At a dinner event in your game’s base you can pick up sub jobs these let you change equipment profiles like giving a mage a bow, for example.

Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century has a number of classes like lancer, blacksmith, archer, and chemist. The game also has a crafting system where you can create weapons, healing items, and magic stones.

You can bring six characters in battle, three masters and three apprentices. Battles are turn based and revolve around a will, which used after each command. A fixed amount of will is restored after each turn.

Konami’s new Suikoden game comes out on February 9.

There Will Be Downloadable Genso Suikoden

PlayStation Vita owners will be able to play the new Genso Suikoden game. Konami has announced a download release for Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki, the new PSP entry in the long running RPG series. The download version will be priced a bit less, at ¥5,480 compared to the ¥5,980 of the retail UMD version.

As noted by Konami in a news bit at the official site announcing the download version, the download release means that Vita owners can play the game. However, only UMD players will get the game's first print run bonus, a set of PSP custom themes showing artwork from past Suikoden games.
