Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi Videos Show Off Its Many Collaboration Costumes

Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi, the updated PlayStation 4 version of the game is getting several new features, in addition to a bunch of collaboration costumes. The latest batch of videos for the game highlights some of these new outfits.

- A set of collaboration costumes from Tales of Zestiria.

- Tokugawa Ieyasu jamming out with T.M. Revolution’s “Hot Limit” costume.

- A tag-team collaboration with Japanese pro wrestlers.

- Collaboration with Resident Evil and outfits from Chris, Leon, Kill, and Wesker.

- Street Fighter IV also shares some costumes with Ken, Rose, Ryu, and Chun-Li.

- And finally, Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi goes hunting with Monster Hunter outfits.

Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi released today in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den launches September in Japan [Update]

Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan in September, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The latest entry in the Sengoku Basara series, Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den features new military commanders, starting with an adolescent Sanada Yukimura and including both Sanada Masayuki (his father) and Sanada Nobuyuki (his older brother), and tells the grand tale of the Sanada family. Update 6:45 a.m.: Both Sanada Masayuki and Sanada Nobuyuki will be playable military commanders.

- Sanada Masayuki (voiced by Hochu Otsuka) – Sanada Yukimura’s father. Wears a western-style costume. He has the nickname “Conjurer,” and disrupts the battlefield with his tricky attacks.
- Sanada Nobuyuki (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya) – Sanada Yukimura’s older brother. He fights with a spear and runs across the battlefield with dauntless courage, and is feared as the “Lion of Shinano.”

The theme song is “Committed Red” by T.M. Revolution. It will be released as a part of their new single on April 6.

Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den launches August 25 in Japan [Update]

Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 25, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals. It will cost 6,990 yen at retail (7,549 yen with tax) and 6,472 yen via download (6,990 yen with tax).

Update 7:05 a.m.: A few new details have come in.

Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune’s early childhood selves are playable. Each character has different actions from their adult selves. Benmaru, voiced by Soichiro Hoshi, is Yukimura’s early childhood self, and uses a long practice spear as a weapon. Bontenmaru, voiced by Kazuya Nakai, is Date Masamune’s early childhood self, and uses a wooden sword as a weapon.

There’s also a new system called the “Warrior Hearts System,” which lets players power up their military commander during battle by collecting warrior hearts on the battlefield, and activate special abilities known as skills.
