Capcom of Japan recently sent out Biohazard (Resident Evil in the US) promotional materials to Japanese videogame retailers and hinted at a possible software bundle with the GameCube console. The company in fact noted that it and Nintendo expect solid sales of Biohazard upon its release March 22 in the homeland, and that the two will be collaborating on possible bundle sets. It even included an illustration on what to expect, which we've scanned and provided below:
Capcom's getting ready to blow Biohazard out in Japan with a number of bundles
The company's own plans for the promotion were vague, but judging from the illustration above there could very well be a joint campaign between Nintendo and Capcom for an actual Biohazard-branded GameCube box set, which would certainly sell systems.
