Settings

o You can now select the hard disk format method in [Format Utility] and [Restore PS3™ System] under [System Settings].
o The method of selecting output resolution has been changed in [Video Output Settings] under [Display Settings].

Game
o New for 1.31: You can now play PlayStation®2 format software titles that must be installed on the hard disk.

Other
o The compatibility of USB devices with PlayStation®2 format software titles has changed. For details on USB devices that can be used with system software version 1.30, select here.
o New for 1.31: Playability status with the PS3™ system has changed for some PlayStation® and PlayStation®2 format titles. To check on the latest status, visit the search site for compatible titles.
o New for 1.32: The online gaming functionality of the system software has been updated.

gerüchteweise soll man mit dem neuen update auch seine PS2 spiele auf der HDD speichern können und ohne DVD spielen. würde ich sehr geil finden, habe ich bei der alten Xbox 1 auch immer gemacht

Angeblich ist die Firmware 1.2 gehacked, das würde bedeuten das ich auf meiner Asia PS3 dann Pal PS2 Games, Pal DVDs und Pal Blu Rays kucken kann

Wie siehts denn mit der Abwärtskompatibilität und deren Bildqualität aus? Hat Sony da irgendetwas verbessern können? Kann mich noch an entsetzte Forenposts erinnern wo die Bildqualität alles andere als gut war!
