For the second year running, fans around the world thirsting for a sneak preview of the Xbox 360™ holiday games and entertainment lineup can get together with friends to experience the E3 Media & Business Summit (E3) — the biggest video game industry event of the year — in high definition from the comfort of their own homes.

From Tuesday, July 10, through Friday, July 13, Microsoft Corp. is bringing E3 home to owners of the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system through its second annual E3: Bringing It Home, which offers downloads on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace of the hottest content from the show.

Connect to the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network and bring everyone together in the living room to enjoy the E3 experience with E3: Bringing It Home.

Xbox 360 owners will be able to download high-definition content direct from the show including the following:

· Microsoft’s E3 2007 press conference — beginning at 8:30 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, July 10 — will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace in high definition later in the week
· Video updates direct from the show
· A selection of game trailers, themes, gamer pictures and demos will be available from the hottest E3 titles such as these:

Microsoft soll Xbox 360 Falcon vorbereiten
09.07.07 - Bei Microsoft soll man unter dem Codenamen Falcon an einer neuen Xbox 360 arbeiten. Das behauptet Buchautor Dean Takahashi von MercuryNews.

Falcon steht für die neueste Elektronik innerhalb der Xbox 360: Der IBM-Mikroprozessor und der AMD/ATI-Grafik-Chip werden in 65-nanometer gefertigt, statt wie bisher in 90-nanometer. Die 65nm-Technik sorgt für günstigere Herstellungskosten der Chips, die vermutlich um etwa 50 Prozent niedriger sind.

Durch die neuen Chips stehen Microsoft mehrere Optionen offen: Man könnte das externe Netzteil in die Konsole oder eine kleinere Variante des Core Systems bauen.

Außerem generieren die neuen Chips nicht so viel Hitze, so dass sich die Konsole überhitzen könnte. Die neue Xbox 360 Falcon könnte nach Takahashis Einschätzung im Herbst 2007 in den USA auf den Markt kommen. In ein oder zwei Jahren könnten die Chips womöglich sogar in einem 45-nm-Prozess produziert werden.

- Xbox 360 price drops: $249 Core Pack, $349 Premium Pack, $399 Elite Pack - won’t be until a few months, but is clearly a response to Sony’s PS3 price-drop, and due to much cheaper chips (to keep the 360 from overheating and save manufacturing costs).
- Rock Band becomes a timed-exclusive for the Xbox 360 - a first for Electronic Arts as a publisher.
- Huge change for Xbox Live memberships. Possibility of free online play, or huge upgrades for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
- Halo 3: Game is presented in fine fashion with outstanding music arrangement by the Video Games Live crew and Marty O’Donnell.
- Microsoft bores people to death with showing Xbox 360 compatibility with Windows Vista
- Square Enix shows commital to Xbox 360 platform.
- Too Human and Saints Row 2 shown in fine form.
- A downloadable demo for one of Microsoft’s biggest game is available for free directly after their keynote (Prediction: Mass Effect?)
- Gears of War 2 mentioned and possibly shown in trailer form.
- Revealed that GTA4 will have specific content only found on the Xbox 360, and not on the PS3.

Die PK ist um 5:30Uhr ?! Na toll... Dann werd ich ja hier schon von den News zugespoilert, bevor ich die PK sehen konnte...

Weiß jemand eventuell jetzt schon, wo man die direkt runterladen oder streamen lasse kann (natürlich nicht live), nachdem sie schon zu ende ist? Dann würde ich mir den Link speichern und mir erst die PK ansehen, bevor ich auf CW vorbeischaue. Dann morgen Vormittag MS PK und abends um 18:30Uhr die Nintendo PK Live. Das wird ein schöner Tag :-D Wenn auch OT: wann ist die Sony PK zu deutscher Zeit?

10.07.07 - Auf der Bühne von Microsofts E3-Pressekonferenz sind vier Xbox 360-Modelle zu sehen. Das meldet Joystiq.

Das vierte Modell - auf dem Foto ganz links zu sehen - ist etwas gräulich. Vermutlich handelt es sich um ein neues Xbox 360-Modell mit geänderter Ausstattung und neuem Preis.

Microsoft hat das Bild nicht kommentiert, die Pressekonferenz findet heute Nachmittag statt.
