Godzilla coming to PS4 in Japan this summer

Last December, Bandai Namco launched Godzilla for PlayStation 3 in Japan. Around the same time, the company announced a western localization with an added PlayStation 4 version coming this summer. Japan will get that PlayStation 4 version this summer, as well, with Godzilla VS, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.

The PlayStation 4 version will let players become not only Godzilla, but all the other monsters featured in teh game, as well, and features missions where you battle up to three creatures. SpaceGodzilla will also appear as a playable character, and online battles are supported.

Mal ne Frage wurde das Spiel nicht am Anfang nur für die PS3 angekündigt oder so?

Weiß ich leider nicht, kommt jedenfalsl für beide, vlt entschied man sich mittendrin es auch für Ps4 zu bringen

Godzilla multiplayer exclusive to PS4 version

Bandai Namco announced Godzilla VS for PlayStation 4 in Japan earlier this week.

Back in December, the company’s western branch announced that it’d bring the Godzilla game launched for PlayStation 3 in Japan that same month to North America and Europe this summer, and with an added PlayStation 4 version.

Following the announcement of Godzilla VS in Japan, we got in touch with Bandai Namco to clarify the western version’s feature set—to find out if Godzilla VS is a different game entirely and our western version is the same as the Japanese PlayStation 3 version.

A Bandai Namco representative told Gematsu that the western PlayStation 4 version of Godzilla is the same as the new Godzilla VS just announced for Japan, and that the multiplayer elements would be exclusive to said version.

Meanwhile, the PlayStation 3 version will not have the multiplayer elements of its older brother and will be the same game launched last December in Japan.

Godzilla is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS3 in the west this July.

Irgendwie habe ich schon Bock auf das Game und Trailer sieht für ein Godzilla-Spiel auch nicht schlecht aus, wenn es in Richtung der GC-Teile geht werde ich es kaufen.
