Passend zu den BAFTA Awards wurden von der International Game Developers Association die Nominierungen bekannt gegeben für den Game Developers Award. Dieser Preis wird, wie am Namen zu erkenne, direkt an die Spieleentwickler und Verantwortlichen überreicht. Am 24. März werden die Gewinner bekanntgegeben. SAN FRANCISCO, CA - February 25, 2004 - The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) today announced nominees for the 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards. Recipients will be recognized in eight award categories including Game of the Year, Rookie Studio of the Year and Excellence in Visual Arts at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
The 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony, the premier accolades for peer-recognition in game development, will take place in the Civic Auditorium, San Jose , on Wednesday, March 24, 2004.
"The industry has seen an exceptional year from developers. We are proud to honor those who have dedicated their careers to making innovative games," said Jason Della Rocca, Program Director, IGDA. "This award is a tremendous honor as nominees have been selected by their peers."
