If you were upset because you wouldn't be able to collect the monsters from Folklore on the PS3, fear not! Sony has confirmed a PSP version of the title is in the works. The game probably won't be exactly the same (graphically obvious, plotline will also probably differ), but the interesting thing to note is the involvement of Kouji Okada. You may know Okada as the creator of the always-critically-acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei titles. What does this mean? You're going to get a badass PSP game.

While our speculation leads us to believe this PSP title will be set in the same universe but tell a different story, there's nothing to confirm that. Sony has remained quiet on the issue. We aren't even aware of any link-up between the PSP and PS3 game for extra content, monsters, etc. Even if there is none, we know the title will be worthy of following up on, so expect to hear more in the coming weeks!

Ist auf der Ps3 schon kein Kracher gewesen, wird auf der PSP imo auch keiner. Aber für Leute denen der Ps3 teil schon gefällt sicher ideal :-)

Hoffe aber das sie sich bei der PSP Fassung richtig Mühe geben und daraus nicht nur ein Standard - PSP Port wird mit heruntergeschraubter Grafik.
 
Ich finde schon die PS3 Fassung sehr interessant und freu mich, dass ich das Spiel dann auch auf der PSP spielen kann :)

Wenn die techniche Umsetzung gut wird, ist's gekauft - bin schon gespannt auf die ersten Screens
 
Kommt es diesmal eigentlich über Sony oder über Atlus ?

Ich hoffe mal von SCE, dann ist ne deutsche version wahrscheinlicher.

Ich denk mal, dass im Moment nichts geplant ist, sie für ein US Release aber doch noch einen Publisher auftreiben werden, ist auf der psp ja so ne Sache, wenn ich da an Brave Story denke :cry2:

Aber zum Spiel selbst: Seh ich das richtig, dass es mit Folklore von der ps3 nicht viel gemeinsam hat?
So wie ich das sehe kann man wieder Seelen aufsaugen, Portale betreten und dort mit ihnen Kämpfen, das setting etc ist aber komplett anders, oder?
Auf den psp screenshots wirkt das irgendwie etwas futuristischer und ich hab von von einer "Militär-Story" gehört, wäre schade, diese verträumte Märchenwelt von Folklore hatte einen richtig hübschen Stil!

aber ist unreleased = TBA oder kommt gar kein US release?

@trulla: ich glaube fast, die gehen auf nummer sicher. das irische dörfchen hat in japan keinen interessiert. jetzt gibts gewohnte scifi-rpg kost mit einem hauch pokemon :-D
