Aus einer Umfrage der japanischen Zeitschrift Famitsu geht hervor, dass japanische Spieler es gerne sehen würden, wenn Final Fantasy XIII, welches derzeit noch exklusiv für die Playstation 3 gehandelt wird, auch auf Nintendo Wii oder Xbox 360 erscheinen sollte.
Bei der Umfrage What exclusive game would you like to go multiplatform? gelangte der Titel mit 196 Stimmen auf Platz 3. Auf Platz 2 landete Metal Gears Solid 4 (PS3, 314 Stimmen) und auf Platz 1 Monster Hunter 3 (PS3, 316 Stimmen).
