A recent Game Developers Conference bio on software house Factor 5 indicated that the company had two projects in the works. No specifics were given.
Today we contacted Factor 5 for additional details. Though the company was largely tight-lipped, it did have some words for readers interested in its future lineup.
"We always have several projects in development," said Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht. "If any of those titles come to fruition, that's another story."
Eggebrecht had a "no comment" when asked whether or not the company's projects were all for exclusively for GameCube.
The company head was unwilling to provide further details, but wasn't above teasing. Asked when gamers would first see unveilings for any of the new projects, Eggebrecht admitted, "Soon. Very soon. Definitely before E3. It really depends on our publishers, but they wouldn't appreciate it if I give you any more details."
Factor 5 is best known as one of the most technically capable software houses making games today, and as the powerhouse behind the well-received Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2.
We'll have much more on its lineup in the coming months. Stay tuned
