Glory of Heracles

Glory of Heracles erschien bereits Ende Mai 2008 in Japan und wird nun in den USA am 18.01.2010 veröffentlicht. Das RPG von PAON ((Donkey Kong Jet Race, Donkey Kong Jungle Climber, DK Bongo Blast...) konnte sich in Japan mäßig verkaufen und Nintendo bringt nun für alle Fans des Genres eine Lokalisierung ! Wer also Lust auf das Game hat sollte es sich importieren, denn von einer Veröffentlichung in EU ist bisher nichts bekannt.

Wenn sich jemand von euch zufällig am 28.01. in Tokyo aufhalten sollte und ihr dann auch noch Fan der Dragon Quest Reihe seit und auch noch mindestens 18 Jahre seit solltet ihr mal in LUIDA'S BAR vorbei schauen. Tegra 2 Demo

Die Gerüchteküche brodelt, welche Suppe wird gekocht ??
Nun, auf der CES hat nvidia den Tegra 2 vorgestellt und laut einigen Leuten des Konzerns wird man im neuen DS2 einen Tegra 2 von nvidia verbauen, hier eine Tech-Demo .

Der neue Chip nvidia Tegra 2 enthält nicht weniger als acht unabhängige Prozessoren.
Zusammen sollen diese die zehnfache Leistung eines üblichen Smartphone-Prozessors erreichen, bei einem Stromverbrauch von gerade einmal einem halben Watt, einem Bruchteil des Bedarfs herkömmlicher PC-Prozessoren. Unbenötigte Einheiten können heruntergetaktet bzw. abgeschaltet werden, so dass eine typische Ausdauer von 16 Stunden Full-HD-Video-Wiedergabe oder gar 140 Stunden Musikwiedergabe erreicht werden soll.
Als Betriebssystem für die nicht Intel-kompatible CPU kommt insbesondere Android in Frage. Eine Kooperation mit Adobe, die ihr neues Dokumentenformat "Air" portieren, soll E-Magazine und E-Books ermöglichen.

Virtual Villagers: A New Home ist eine Mischung aus Sims und Lost in Blue. Der Spieler hat die Aufgabe einer Gruppe überlebender zu helfen die auf einer tropischen Insel gestrandet sind. Dort wird er sich Nahrung suchen müssen (Früchte, Fische…),eine Hütte bauen und die Umgebungen erforschen. Das Game hat noch keine Relaise Termin für Europa.

New Pokéwalker Accessory Lets Players Bring the Fun of Pokémon Wherever They Go

For more than a decade, millions of Pokémon™ fans around the world have enjoyed training their Pokémon within their video games. The March 14 release of the Pokémon™ HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version games lets players continue to enjoy the world of Pokémon away from their Nintendo DS™ or Nintendo DSi™ systems, taking their favorite Pokémon with them wherever they go with the new Pokéwalker™ accessory. This new accessory will come included with each copy of these games.

In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions, players can wirelessly transfer any one of their Pokémon from one of the two games to the Pokéwalker and walk them through virtual routes as the player walks around in real life. By walking, players earn Watts, which are used within the Pokéwalker to encounter and catch wild Pokémon or search for hidden items, and can be transferred into Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions to unlock new routes. There are even special versions of certain Pokémon that can only be found within routes on the Pokéwalker, giving players added incentive to keep their Pokémon with them wherever they go. The Pokémon in the Pokéwalker will gain experience points as the player walks, and can even go up one level when they are transferred back into the game. Players also can wirelessly connect two Pokéwalkers to trade items.


Letting players return to the beloved Johto region first introduced in Pokémon Gold Version and Silver Version for the portable Game Boy™ system, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions introduce several new enhancements for the series that enrich these timeless adventures. Created exclusively for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi systems, the games feature detailed graphics that spotlight the unique environments and hundreds of Pokémon that players can encounter and catch. Players can even see and interact with their favorite Pokémon outside of battle, selecting one from their team to follow behind their Trainer as they travel through the Johto region. The games also include robust touch-screen functionality, allowing for smoother control and seamless navigation by the player.

Elite Group Working on Nintendo DS

There are many elite development teams in Japan, some of which stem from a similar background. Now a particular group of developers that have produced some true classics are working together on a new Nintendo DS title called PostPet DS: Yume Miru Momo to Fushigi no Pen. What do the following names mean to you: Vanpool, AlphaDream, Route24 and Marvelous Entertainment? Here is a little bit of help: Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosey Rupeeland, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Chibi-robo, Harvest Moon. Yes, each developer has worked on a number of high quality games for Nintendo systems. They also all have ties with the company formerly known as Squaresoft (Square Enix in today's world).

Now they have teamed up with So-Net to use the Japanese brand PostPet. Originally, PostPet was a piece of Internet emailing software where users could feed their PostPet in a Tamagotchi-style manner, care for them, play with them and even pat or hit them when desired! The key difference between Bandai's brand was that your PostPet could wander across the online space and deliver emails to friends and family. It was one of those very simple ideas that caught on well with the Japanese public.

Under the publishing umbrella of Marvelous Entertainment, Route24, Vanpool and AlphaDream have taken the PostPet world and developed it considerably into what appears to be an Animal Crossing type of adventure, complete with Wi-Fi play where your pet can deliver messages to other DS systems, as well as photos taken within the game.

There is no indication that Rising Star Games will be bringing this to Europe just at the moment, and sadly the game has not broken into the Media Create Top 50 since launching in Japan on 24th December, 2009. However, with such a rich pedigree of developers behind the project, it would certainly be a shame to see this resigned to life solely in Japan!
