Vita Dead or Alive 5: Plus

Dead or Alive 5 Plus Out In March; Lets You Touch And Pinch Your Opponent

Dead or Alive 5 Plus on the PlayStation Vita has new features like a Touch Play mode and a Training Plus mode. In Touch Play mode, you can hold your Vita vertically and you get a first-person view of your opponent. This mode also changes how you fight.

There are two modes in Touch Play mode. In Mode 1, you tap your opponent to attack them in that spot. In Mode 2, you can touch, flick and pinch your opponent for more attack options.

Meanwhile, Training Plus mode lets you build up your skills and knowledge of the game by playing through various training missions. Finally, Dead or Alive 5 Plus will also have more detailed frame data. Team Ninja are adding additional information like delay interval frames, move reach and more to the game.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be released on March 19th, 2013 in North America. You’ll be able to battle against Dead or Alive 5 players on the PlayStation 3, as well as share costumes across both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game.

Dead Or Alive 5 Plus Will Have Paradise Costumes DLC And A "Private Movie"

Tecmo Koei announced a collector’s edition of Dead or Alive 5 Plus for Japan. This package includes a code to download 12 paradise sexy costumes, a "I’m a fighter" Vita decal, Dead or Alive 5 soundtrack volume 2, a beginner’s guide to gravure, and another code to download an extreme private gravure movie. The Dead or Alive 5 Plus collector’s edition will retail for 9,240 yen ($110) while a regular copy goes for 6,090 yen ($72).

The paradise costumes will also be available after the game launches as paid downloadable content, but a price has not been set. Tecmo Koei didn’t say if the gravure movie would also be on sale on PlayStation Network.

Like costumes? Dead or Alive 5 Plus also has a bonus cheerleader costumes for Tina, Ayane, and Kasumi bundled with first print copies of the game. As of now, this bonus has not been announced for North America.

A "you’re a tipster" title and thanks to Tee Niitris for giving us the heads up.

Wird es die CE auch außerhalb von Japan geben und falls ja, kann man diese bereits vorbestellen?

Dead Or Alive 5 Plus Supports Cross Play And Cross System Costume DLC

Dead or Alive 5 has a bunch of costumes already and the good news is all of that PS3 downloadable content will work with the Vita version, Dead or Alive 5. Famitsu confirmed Dead or Alive 5 Plus supports the cross goods feature which makes content purchased from the PlayStation Store compatible with both systems.

That means the Paradise costumes (pictured) included with first print copies of Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be enabled on the PS3 version and you can use all of those Santa costumes on the Vita.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus also supports cross saves so you can continue the story mode on the go and cross play. Yeah, you can challenge PS3 gamers with the Vita version. An icon will let online players know if you’re playing on a console (controller icon) or Vita (Vita icon).

Dead or Alive 5 also has a beach stage called Zack Island. Ah, those Paradise costumes make much more sense now…
