The eternal question is: what does the future hold for Castlevania? IGA was evasive on specifics, but gave a few thoughts on the subject.
"I want to experiment. Castlevania is always set in the past, but what if a Castlevania were set in the electronic age? That's an idea I have -- I just want to think about it for now." He continued: "I've been thinking about an online game, where players band together to defeat Count Dracula." That would certainly be a departure. Slightly more specifically: "I am creating a new project, and it will definitely surprise Castlevania fans. But ... I really can't talk about it."
