I make video games, currently working for Electronic Arts on the latest Command & Conquer. Last year, the prediction was that Sony would win the next-gen war, that the PS3 would be the dominant console, just like the PS2 was.

That is no longer the case. The extremely strong performance of the Wii, combined with the miserable performance of Sony has revised pretty much everyone’s expectations. Right now, most of us here think the 360 will be on top for this generation, with the battle for second place between Sony and Nintendo (and that’s a major shock, as we’d nearly written Nintendo off for the non-handheld market.) Most of us still think Sony will beat off Nintendo, simply due to the older graphics on the Wii, but it’s not a sure thing.

My opinion - get the 360 and/or the Wii. Skip the PS3 unless there’s a big change in the near future. - Dr. Andrew Garrett, EA LA

Zu ME: Ich glaube da wird es Halo 3 richtig schwer bekommen GOTY zu werden. Es hört sich so vielversprechend an!!

Naja, am Ende wird dann etwas ganz anderes GOTY wie Bioshock oder meinetwegen MP.
Wobei man da doch auch auf keinen Nenner kommt. Jeder wählt doch immer ein anderes GOTY.

Bei dem MS Lineup 2007 wird Nintendo schon sehr schwer haben

Nintendokandidaten sind imo SMG und MP.
SSBB sehe ich nicht als GOTY Kandidaten

Naja bin ja aml auf das PS3 Biowareprojekt gespannt. Und PLZ Bioware ich will ein Baldurs Gate III mit alter optik^^

Welches Projekt denn? Das war bisher nur ein Gerücht und daran wird kaum etwas dran gewesen sein.

Edit: Und ja klar, Baldurs Gate..Auf einer Konsole rauszubringen, wo Bioware noch kein einziges Game entwickelt hat. Übrigens könnte Dragon Age ein indirektes BG werden.

@EA hmm jo lest das nochmal. Da steht nichts von der 360 sondern nur das der Abstand zwischen nintendo und Sony nicht mehr so groß werden wird. MS wird gar nicht mit in den Consolewar eingeschlossen bis auf den letzten satz
