Bin auch gespannt und werde es wenn alles klappt auch auf der GC spielen können. Fable 1 war schon der Hammer und von dem was man von Teil 2 bisher gesehen hat, ist dieser wohl besser als Teil 1

Das aufgewärmte Bioshock für die PS3 erscheint auch am 24., wird aber wohl gegen Fable 2 gnadenlos untergehen.

Fable 2 given October 24 UK release


Microsoft Game Studios has announced that Fable II is to be released across the UK on October 24, three days following the game's October 21 debut. The game will be released throughout the rest of the world in the months that follow.

Before the retail release of Fable II gamers will have the opportunity to begin earning gold by purchasing the Fable II Pub Games on August 13. The game will cost 800 MS Points and features the casino-style pub games, "Fortune's Tower," "Keystone" and "Spinnerbox". Gold earned in the XBLA title can be carried across into Fable II.

In addition to the standard edition of Fable II a Limited Collector's Edition will also be available through participating retailers.

Contents of Limited Collector's Edition:

• Bonus DVD - Includes new 'Making-of Feature' with Peter Molyneux and the team at Lionhead Studios and concept art viewer
• Bonus In-Game Content (Requires LIVE account) - Includes "The Hall of the Dead" Dungeon, "The Wreckager" Legendary Cutlass Weapon and Otherworldly Bonus
• Collectible Hobbe figure with accessories - From the Qee Collection comes this one-of-a-kind Hobbe figure. Nasty, brutish, and short, he roams the countryside, preying on travellers and spiriting away the children of the unwary.
• 48-hour Xbox LIVE Gold Trial Card - With Xbox LIVE Gold, players can show off their individual hero by inviting friends into their unique version of Albion or they can visit their friends' Albion, and earn additional gold, experience and renown to take back into their own.
• Five printed Fate Cards - These five beautiful cards foretell the Hero's great destiny to journey across all of Albion, encountering deadly enemies and enigmatic allies. The path leads to a choice that will change the world forever.

The standard edition of Fable II will retail at £44.99, while the Collector's Edition will carry an estimated retail price of £49.99.

das mit der truhe erinnert mich an zelda und das da drunter irgendwie an WoW

Fand den ersten auch ziemlich cool, aber was ich mir von dem 2ten Teil wünsche ist eine weitaus ausgefeiltere Story!

Die vom ersten war ja ganz ok für nebenher... aber da kann man einiges nachbessern IMO. Leider denke ich, dass das ganze etwas schwer zu gestalten wird, wenn man schon dem Spieler zig Freiheiten einbaut, muss irgendwo der rote Faden durchs Spiel gehen...

hat mich auch an WoW erinnert... werd mal abwarten was man so zum umfang sagen wird. das game steigt bei mir aber enorm in den MW ^^

Fable II wird total genial.

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es evtl. der wichtigste Systemseller der Xbox 360 in diesem Jahr werden. Die Vorbestellungen bei Amazon.com über 2 Monate vor dem Release sind absolut beeindruckend für die USA. Und vor allem das Feature mit dem Hund könnte doch einigen gefallen.

Ich freu mich auf jeden Fall total auf das Spiel - hoffe nur, dass es auch schön umfangreich ist
