Naruto Storm 4: Confirmed to release on XB1, PS4, and Steam

The latest scan for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm left many to believe that the latest title in the franchise will be an exclusive to the Playstation 4.

Well luckily for some fans, no! That is not the case. The game will be coming to the Xbox One and PC as well via Steam! There is no word on whether or not it’ll also release on those platforms in Japan, however the Naruto Storm 4 Twitter has confirmed that will be the case for the west!

Naruto Storm 4 Will Have “Alterable” Stages and Boss Battles Will Be More Strategic

We have more translations for the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game and according to Japanese site Game Watch (news can also be found on Famitsu), stages will be alterable in some fashion and boss battles will be a little different this time around. Check out the translation below.

By developing the title for the PS4, this allows for the graphics and overall beauty of the game to really come to life. Battles will evolve with alterable stages, and with hyper-realistic character expressions, players will truly feel like they are in the battle themselves in a way that hasn’t been seen before.

Boss bottles will offer fresh, new gameplay systems that add a new layer of strategic depth.

Stay tuned for more news on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 in the coming days.

Thanks PS360HD2 for the tip.

Naruto Storm 4: Promotional Box Art and HQ Screenshots Are Here

We’re keeping the ball rolling with out Naruto Storm 4 news updates. Here we have the Box Art for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

As some fans might know, CC2 likes to give us an initial box art, and then switch it up some time before release. We expect that to be the case here since this box art seems too plain.

Below are also two HQ screenshots showing off the game’s impressive visuals. Whether these are from in-game battles or cutscenes we aren’t sure, but they’re pretty to look at until we find out.

Mehrere Jutsus. SOllen es einfach wie die PS2 Reihe machen.

z.b Sasuke :
zwei mal nach unten + o = chidori
zwei mal nach oben + o = katon
einmal dreieck + o = leichter special angriff zb Ameterasu
zwei mal dreieck + o = Susanoo

würde einfach mal mehr vielfalt bringen

Naruto Storm 4: Japanese Press Release Translated, Possible Character Confirmation

Oh Hiroshi Matsuyama. This man is basically the luckiest cosplayer ever because he gets paid to dress up as the
characters that he’s excited about in his new games. We’ve seen him dress up as Rohan Kishibe, and many different forms of Naruto throughout the years, and at a press release on the Japanese show “Abeta’s Tea Time”, he continued this trend with a KCL Naruto outfit, but the man next to him is the one that demands attention.

RQfRk6I Naruto Storm 4: Japanese Press Release Translated, Possible Character Confirmation

For the uninitiated (that means you anime only fans), the man to the right of Hiroshi is dressed in a Six Path Mode Madara outfit. Could this be some kind of confirmation for this form in the upcoming game? Maybe, however instead of wondering about that, check out the translations from the press release below. There isn’t anything too new, but for the sake of consistency we felt that it should be reported on.

Jump Festa CyberConnect2 Interview

Warning: Naruto manga spoilers ahead!

The two day Japanese expo known as Jump Festa has come and gone, but information from the event continues to trickle in! The latest is an interview with the president and CEO of developer CyberConnect2, Hiroshi Matsuyama by the good people over at J-Patrol! Sporting the look of Kurama-Link Naruto, Matsuyama-san anwsers questions many fans are interested in through a translator. However, because Naruto Storm 4 was just announced last Monday, he was unable to specify much as decisions are still being made in regards to the game. Saiyan Island has listed the key points of the interview below along with the video interview itself.

How many characters will be in the game? Will the likes of Kaguya Otsutsuki, Hamura Otsutsuki, Hagoromo Otsutsuki (Rikudou Sennin), and Toneri Otsutsuki make it into the game? They can’t say because the game was just announced, however (just as in the past for the past Storm games), keep an eye out for updates in the Weekly Jump magazine.

Will Storm 4 have the same battle system as Storm Revolution? They took in fan feedback and it won’t be the exact same as the old battle system, but it will have some new elements mixed in with old ones. Ultimately, they will make a new style of gameplay that best fits the game.

What are the differences between the old generation and the up-coming new generation of games? Graphics, of course. CyberConnect2 is still looking to possibly utilize unique elements for each console (such as the PS4′s share feature) to bring new experiences.

The Last: Naruto the Movie version of Naruto is confirmed to be in the game. Does Naruto Storm 4 include the story as well? It’s only confirmed for the Japanese version right now, it’s still to be determined for the American/European version, but if fans voice they want it to happen, CyberConnect2 can make it happen. (Saiyan Island note: The Last version of Naruto was not in the English trailer. This is likely due to the movie not yet being released in North America/Europe yet. Great news is, the movie is announced for the US, so there is a good chance The Last movie story will make its way to the game for the entire world, not just Japan)

Will additional stories like the Kakashi Gaiden make their way to the game? They can’t say yet, but they are still make decisions in regards to that. Like the answer on characters, Matsuyama-san tells fans to keep an eye out for information.

Tell us about the background music (BGM). Decisions are still being made, but there will be something new being instilled with the same composer behind the Storm series of games.

Is Masashi Kishimoto involved with Naruto Storm 4? Kishimoto-sensei oversees things as a supervisor and if he has any feedback, CyberConnect2 implements them. They are currently working with him to also learn what new ideas he has from his next Naruto manga project and if they can bring those things to the game.

Was soll CC2 machen?

Bandai Namco Games Europe Answers Fan Questions Regarding Naruto Storm 4

J-Patrol had the chance to interview Tony, Bandai Namco Games Europe’s Community Manager to answer many fan questions regarding the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game.

He stated while not officially confirmed, CyberConnect2 wanted to “do all these things that they couldn’t achieve in the previous games” so the chances of Team Battle making an appearance in the game are high, but again, it’s not confirmed yet. Additionally, he states that “special efforts will be done on the Online Modes”.

During the Jump Festa event, it was confirmed that characters will sustain damages during battle, such as outfits gets ripped and skins gets burned depending on how the armors and weapons are destroyed.

It also has been confirmed that the Counter System from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will be returning, but it’s too early to talk about how it will work in this new installment.

Considering the series is now on “new platforms” and how according to Tony, “most of the styles have changed, including the attacks, the way it moves..” , it has been assured that there will be a lot of changes, even for returning characters. Their aim is to cover the entire series, they will include new attacks as shown in the end of the manga, but of course, since some characters haven’t even developed in the manga, they will most likely remain the same.
