Over 1.8 Million Shipped Worldwide

Congratulations to developer CyberConnect2 because the Naruto franchise of video games has never been more successful! Namco Bandai Games Japan today announced over 1.8 million copies of Naruto Storm 3 have been shipped worldwide! The game surpasses it’s predecessor and previous record holder, Naruto Storm Generations, which had over 1 million copies shipped back in July 2012.

It’s likely Naruto Storm 3′s numbers will continue to increase as the physical version of Full Burst for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is finally available to purchase at retailers in Europe. Only the upgrade pack for the original Storm 3 was released October 2013 in Europe, while North America received both the digital upgrade pack and new physical copy.

Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2 look to continue their success with Naruto Storm Revolution, which is due out worldwide at an unannounced date this year. Let’s hope it sets the bar even higher and surpasses Storm 3!
