Maaaaaaybe... Pre-GC stuff was fun, but told to me because I wasn't going to be able to go. That may be changing, so we'll see. I would love to go if only to see some really good friends, but anything they tell me will stay shut up in this clap trap.
Euro talk is a weird thing because journalists over there apparently (obviously) have a habit of spilling the beans in a (personally) shady way. I don't like how leaks go out over there, but maybe it's because there's a better relationship than we have here in the States that happens when something is said. This is a weird industry; ethics or rules aren't really the same here as they are abroad, so I may just be clueless.
Either way, if I go, it'll be in a different capacity than I normal attend these events. Not on the editorial ticket and definitely not something I'll be able to talk about. Buuuuuut, that doesn't mean that stuff people have been discussing is entirely out of the realm of exposure. I just have to be a good friend and make sure they aren't going to get shitcanned or something for me talking about it.
Suffice it to say, GC is a major, major stop on the PS3 hype train. There's always somebody that gets all butthurt and disappointed, but I think most of you will be happy -- especially given the reactions in this thread.
And now, I shaddap. Really, this time. I think. Maybe.
