World of WarCraft Beta

The public beta test of World of WarCraft is slated to begin sometime in the third quarter of fiscal 2003, between August and October, Blizzard Entertainment announced today. Like the tests for earlier blizzard titles, it will be conducted in stages of gradually increasing scope.
Blizzard also passes on some new screens of the Night Elf race in the upcoming MMORPG, which also appear in the cover story of the latest GMR magazine. Check out the upcoming issue for a thorough update on what's happening with the game.
