Microsoft will anscheinend ernsthaft den Weihnachtsmarkt dominieren - und wie geht das? Mit einer abnormalen Businesstaktik die man sich wortwörtlich nur leisten kann wenn man zuviel Geld hat.

Wer in den USA bis zum 21. Dezember eine neue Xbox 360 ersteht und für diese einen neuen Xbox Live Gold-Account anlegt (und ihn bei der Xbox einbindet) sowie sich über ein Webformular bei MS meldet bekommt Halo 3 für umsonst.
Gratis.
Ohne Haken oder Witz.

Interessanterweise nahm man kurze Zeit nachdem ich Microsoft's Webseite mit der Ankündigung sah diese auch direkt wieder Offline.

Update 2: According to a Microsoft spokesman, the Halo 3 promotion is real, but the company took down the web pages associated with the deal over the weekend to fix some incorrect information. On Nov. 19, this article was changed to reflect the new info. The original Xbox.com post did not mention that the deal was only applicable to original Xbox owners who buy a new Xbox 360 and migrate their Live accounts to Gold. It simply stated that anyone who bought an Xbox 360 between the date of the post (Nov. 16) and Dec. 21; signed up for Xbox Live Gold; and registered their console; would receive a free copy of Halo 3.
