PS3 Waste Management Puzzler Coming Here as Trash Panic
Later this spring, Tetris will meet...garbage?

Sony is one of many raising environmental awareness as part of tomorrow's Earth Day celebration.
In addition to teaming with wilderness protection agency Conservation International to donate up to $10,000 based on PlayStation Network transactions, Sony confirmed their Japanese waste management puzzler, Gomibako, is coming over here this spring over PlayStation Network as Trash Panic.
1UP covered Trash Panic in its Japanese form at last year's Tokyo Game Show, and writer Torrey Walker came away pleasantly surprised with his hands-on time.
"I was completely caught off guard by this title," wrote Walker last October. "I had only expected Gomibako to be a quirky curiosity because of its name, but the fast-paced and strategic gameplay very quickly won me over. With a lighthearted and colorful visual style and easy-to-grasp mechanics, this is a title I anticipate spending a lot more time playing when and if it reaches the states."
