Action-RPG Shiness, from Indie studio Enigami, brings to light the depth of its gameplay and enthralling universe in a brand new video. While Shiness releases in just a few weeks on PS4, Xbox One and PC, its universe was born over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of the studio. Composed of passionate people, independent studio Enigami went through a successful Kickstarter campaign, allowing the project to grown and gain momentum, until it was accompanied by Focus Home Interactive. Now the development phase is nearing conclusion, the indie studio keeps pumping all its energy and passion into Shiness, and a child's dream is finally becoming an indie-RPG with a bold personality!

Today's video invites you to the magic world of Shiness, supported by a strong artistic direction, enthralling environments and endearing characters. Explore the world, and use your characters' special powers – Kayenne's telekinesis, Poky's electromagnetic fields manipulation, and more –to progress in your adventure and find precious parchments, which are key to devastating spells and powerful combat techniques.

Throughout your quest, take part in hyper-dynamic combat inspired by traditional fighting games, combining combos, special moves, magic, elemental affinities and devastating "finish moves". As you complete quests and battles, you will gain experience and levels, develop your characters and recruit new playable companions on your team.

Action-RPG Shiness, from indie studio Enigami, will be available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 18 April 2017 as revealed in today’s Music Trailer. The game’s universe was born over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of the studio. Shiness is an Action-RPG developed by French independent studio Enigami, promising to take you on a journey through an enthralling universe on the verge of collapse, following the fragmentation of planet Mahera…

Story

Play as Chado and his companions, traveling through the Celestial islands on their flying ship. After crash-landing on one of the most hostile of the Celestial islands, you find yourself in the middle of a conflict across multiple kingdoms. However, this volatile situation might find a peaceful outcome, with Chado’s newfound unique ability to perceive and communicate with the ‘Shiness’, a mysterious spirit imbued with magic.

Gameplay

Explore a large and captivating world with which you’ll be able to interact thanks to the power of your 5 playable characters: crush a big rock using pure strength to enter a secret cave, or use telekinetic powers to activate some mechanisms and discover a back entry… During your journey, you’ll meet dozens of dangerous enemies with whom you’ll have to face off during hyper-dynamic fights mixing magic, and traditional fighting game mechanics (hit, block, combos…). Gain experience during those fights, while progressing in the storyline or by accomplishing numerous side quests. Evolve your characters, learn new skills and spells, and become the hero who will unify the civilizations of Mahera.

Das Spiel ist schon auf der E3 als interessante und nette Überraschung herausgestochen. Der plötzliche Release im April ist aber ziemlich blöd. Da werden die meisten noch an den älteren Spielen oder am kurz davor erschienenden Persona 5 sitzen.

Mal schauen, wie es bei den Tests abschneidet. Könnte das etwas erwachsenere Ni No Kuni werden.

Eigentlich hätte es in Februar 2016 erscheinen sollen aber das Spiel hat noch ein bisschen Zeit gebraucht. Ich habs mir bei Steam vorbestellt.

Mmhhhh....der Trailer hat mich jetzt eher abgeturnt.... Bin eigentlich ziemlich interessiert an dem Titel aber ich glaube ich warte erstmal Reviews bzw. ausführliche Spielberichte ab bevor ich zuschlage....
