Hudson has released new details on their GameBoy Advance RPG Oriental Bue: Blue Tengai. In this game you can select 2 main characters from a total of 4 choices (two males and two females), and the select will affect the events and storyline. There will be 11 possible companions, sometimes two characters will be offered, you can only choose one, and the other one will not join your party.
The story will take place in ancient Japan, China and Mongolia. The game features a non-linear story, you can freely choose the path, events to advance, and the story continues even if you are defeated by mid-bosses. There is a Magic Orb system, which allows you to attach magic effects to attacks. You can also save your story in the diary and exchange it with friends over the link cable. Oriental Blue: Blue Tengai is scheduled for an October release in Japan.
