Das Spiel ist seit dem 29. Juli auf dem PC draußen. Erwerben könnt ihr es um etwa 16€, auf Steam und gog. Viel Spaß beim diskutieren!

Ghostlight hat im eigenen Blog Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky für Europa angekündigt. Wann genau dieses Spiel erscheint ist noch nicht bekannt. Darüber hinaus soll es wieder eine Special Edition geben. Den genauen Inhalt bleibt noch unklar.

Hi everyone,
I’m delighted to be able to announce that Ghostlight will soon be publishing a special Collector’s Edition of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky exclusively for the PSP in the PAL region.
For those not in the know, Trails in the Sky is the first game in a new trilogy of the established The Legend Of Heroes series. The game itself is a fantastic RPG which was developed by Nihon Falcom and released in the US by XSEED earlier this year to critical acclaim (it currently has a mighty 80% metarating on Metacritic!)
As anyone who’s been following me on my Twitter will have seen, it’s also a game that I’m a massive fan of. In fact, I enjoyed it so much during our evaluation process that I borrowed a work PSP and took it home to play. One thing’s for sure, it’s a BIG game! So, for those of you who like to keep track of these things, my completed save time was 54 hours 30 minutes and 29 seconds, but there were several areas I managed to miss in my first play through. Still, now we’ve got the game it looks like I’ll get another chance to see them.

The highlights for me were the amazing new battle system, where managing the turn order is key to defeating the tougher enemies, and the story itself which is brilliantly written and hilarious in places (just select each treasure chest twice and you’ll see what I mean). And that’s not to mention the fact that the game looks incredible and has an awesome soundtrack!
I’ve had a great time seeing all your guesses as to what the ‘unannounced game’ would be. As promised, here is massive list of everyone who managed to guess which game we were doing. As far as I’m aware, only 4 people managed to guess we were doing Trails in the Sky before I gave my clues. So, well done to michaelius, Ladius, Shuvlarse and ShogunDarius.
Last week's clues seem to have been a bit obvious, so I’ll have to try and be a bit more fiendish next time. It was the number of characters one that gave it away, wasn’t it? So, here is the list of people who guessed Trails in the Sky *deep breath*:

We don’t have a release date or price for the game just yet, but stay tuned for more information on this and also to find out just what cool loot we’re going to be including in our special Collector’s Edition. Plus, I’m hoping to have some other important news for you in the very near future.

ich hab das spiel im märz gekauft (usa deluxe edition) und kam immernoch nicht zum spielen XD

der alte japanische trailer ist imo besser als die englischen trailer von xseed

mal ein kürzer überblick über alle vorhandenen legend of heroes spiele auf psp,wegen der nummerierungen kann man da nämlich leicht den überblick verlieren

ganz zu anfang der psp hat namco 3 titel geportet und auch in den usa veröffentlicht

legend of heroes 1 - a tear of vermillion (eigentlich legend of heroes 4)
legend of heroes 2 - prophecy of the moonlight witch (eigentlich legend of heroes 3)
legend of heroes 3 - song of the oceans (legend of heroes 5)

dieses spiel hier,legend of heroes - trails in the sky (sora no kiseki),ist eigentlich legend of heroes 6 - chapter 1 (es gibt natürlich auch noch chapter 2 (2 umds!) und chapter 3,alles eigenständige spiele...ob xseed diese games auch noch übersetzt ist leider nicht bekannt,sie würden wohl frühstens 2013 damit fertig werden und so wie es heute schon mit der psp ausschaut...)

in japan wurde letztes jahr bereits legend of heroes 7 - zero no kiseki veröffentlicht,und im laufe dieses jahres erscheint auch noch legend of heroes 8 - ao no kiseki
 
es geschehen wirklich noch zeichen und wunder. Doof das ich das Spiel schon längst importiert habe, wie etliche andere wahrscheinlich auch. Das dürfte für die VKZ wieder verheerend sein weil alle halbwegs interessierten wohl schon importiert haben. Aber schön das sich wenigstens jemand der Sache annimmt.
Ich habe jetzt die ersten 5std. hinter mir - so richtig vom hocker gehauen hat es mich noch nicht, aber das Spiel soll ja noch richtig aufdrehen. Der Humor und die Übersetzung sind aber auf jeden Fall aller erster Sahne.

Doch ist bekannt, die bringen die anderen beiden auch noch.
Die Lizenzen dafür haben die auch schon vor einiger Zeit gesichert

Question: I have to ask, what is the outlook for the completion of the series? The next PSP is just around the corner, and while it will play PSP games from PSN, Falcom wasn't able to get the second chapter of Sora no Kiseki on there because it was two UMDs. How worried should we be that we might only get a third of the series?

Answer: We got into the project with the full intention of publishing the entire trilogy, and we've even recorded the English voices for all three games together already. Those are some interesting challenges that you bring up as the UMD media that we need in order to publish the next one could be practically non-existent by the time it would be ready, but we've overcome challenges before with this project and will continue to do so in the future. When we first signed on the series, there was no rational reason to think that we could get the first game out by our original goal of March 2011, but somehow our team got it done.

Ich denke mal die Spiele werden schon noch kommen.

Btw, ich bin gerade in Kanada unterwegs und habe in einem Gameshop "Legend of Heroes III - Song of the Ocean" für 10$ entdeckt. Lohnt sich das Spiel (ist übrigens von der Vorgängertrilogie)? Ich hatte mir vor längerer Zeit mal den ersten Teil gekauft aber nie gezockt, daher kann ich es gerade nicht beurteilen (und klar, 10 Dollar sind nicht viel - 7€ um genau zu sein - aber eigentlich wollte ich mir keine "Vitrinenspiele" mehr kaufen).
 
Mal ne kurze Frage an die Leute die es schon besitzen.
Ich stehe ja echt nicht so auf Digale Versionen und hab lieber was im Regal stehen, aber ich hab jetzt voll Lust auf dieses Game bekommen wo ich dann am überlegen bin mir es doch im Store zu kaufen.
Ghostlight hat ja aber auch die EU Collectors Edition angekündigt so dass ich sie mir ja nicht unbedingt aus den USA importieren muss.
Leider haben sie aber kein Release gesagt :/

Ist dieses Game so gut es sich jetzt als PSN Version zu kaufen zum sofort zocken und dann später auch für die Vita & sich dann später die EU Retail Edition zu kaufen?
Die Videos sehe schonmal alle richtig Klasse zu dem Game aus und machen echt Lust auf mehr.

Oder doch dieses Game erstmal aus dem Kopf schlagen und bis zum EU Release warten?
Ich hätte es echt damals zum US Release importieren sollen aber da war ich noch unentschlossen :D

Dann besorg ich mir wohl doch die PSN oder US Version.
Solange möcht ich dann doch net warten^^
In Japan erscheint diesen Monat schon wieder nen neuer Legend of Heroes Teil, glaub der heißt Trails of Blue oder so.
Bin mal gespannt wann Xseed die anderen beiden hier raushaut.
Der 2. Teil soll ja soweit ich weiß 2 UMDs haben
 
Vielleicht wirds ja Anfang 2012. Aber Ghostlight hat ja einiges zu tun in letzter Zeit^^
 
Ui November, das ist geil.
Battelfield 3, Uncharted 3 und dann Legend of Heroes... wann soll man das alles nur zocken xD
 
Was mich grad wundert. Warum steht bei keinem Shop, dass es sich dabei um eine CE handelt? Bei Persona 2 stehts ja auch überall. O.o
