Die Sony Plakatte sind ja auch da. Ich glaube ja immer noch das es ein Zeichen an Außerirdische ist.

Die E3 ist der Himmel auf Erden für jeden echten Gamer. Gamer die die E3 nicht kennen sind nur Mitläufer. :evil:

We're happy and proud to announce that FileShack.com is the only website on the net announcing extended 720p HD video coverage available of E3 2005. Featuring brand new footage of games and interviews with the developers at the show. This first for E3 is being made possible with the generous support and cooperation of a number of different companies.

- AMD for providing access to their new Dual-Core Opteron 875 processors
- Boxxtech for providing a pair of their latest generation of Video Production Systems
- Limelight networks for providing the shocking additional bandwidth required for HD
- Microsoft for all kinds of cooperation for use of their WMVHD codec (more on this later)

Plus a couple more companies! You'll probably see press releases about this from parties involved in the near future. For those of you not familiar with what HD really is, the footage will be in 1280x720 resolution at a minimum of 5mbit bitrate. A couple of quick samples for you to look at of some real world footage (8 megs) and HL2 recorded in that resolution (20megs). A good amount of footage will be publically available but of course the extended footage will be available for Mercury members.

note: You may have seen HD claimed elsewhere, but 640x360 is not high definition. It's not even close.

Square Enix E3 Pressekonferenz

18.05.05 - Square Enix hat auf einer E3 Pressekonferenz über die zukünftigen Pläne gesprochen. Derzeit hat man für die Xbox 360 nur Final Fantasy XI in Arbeit, doch seien weitere Spiele in Zukunft nicht ausgeschlossen; genaue Pläne gibt es aber noch nicht.
Eine Ausgangsbasis sei allerdings das Xbox 360 Video, das auf der Microsoft-Konferenz von Square Enix nach Final Fantasy XI-gezeigt wurde: Auf dessen Grundlage könnte man Forschung und Entwicklung betreiben.

Final Fantasy XI soll nach den Plänen von Präsident Yoichi Wada auch auf anderen Plattformen als Xbox 360, PS2 und PC erscheinen: Allerdings will man erst die Online-Struktur der jeweiligen Plattformen analysieren, bevor man eine endgültige Entscheidung trifft.

Für World of Mana ist noch keine Plattform bekannt, sie soll erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt bekanntgegeben werden. Auf welcher Hardware (Revolution, PS3, Xbox 360) kommende Episoden von Dragon Quest und Final Fantasy erscheinen werden, bleibt abzuwarten: Square Enix will sich nicht festlegen und macht die Veröffentlichung u.a. vom Spiel-Design abhängig.

Vielleicht sogar FF XIII. Klingt vielleicht wie Wunschdenken, aber offensichtlich ist doch noch nicht gesetzt, dass es auf der PS3 erscheint. Zumindest klingt das hier doch sehr danach:
