Work continues apace on Pimps at Sea, Bungie's epic tale of pimps, piracy and prostitution on the high seas. This in spite of the recent news that a laptop containing much of the game has gone missing. The backup code however, contains plenty of surprises.
First up however, we are very excited to announce the "Big Pimpin' Bling-Bling Special Collector's Edition," a stainless gold (that's right bitch, GOLD!) embossed deluxe metal case containing the Pimps at Sea game, a documentary made by the Hughes Brothers tracking the behind-the-scenes development of Pimps at Sea called "Swash-Hustlers." The Bling-Bling edition will be available only to customers who pre-order well in advance, and only 50,000 such editions will be printed. Inside you'll find a single purple feather, some special discounts on Pimp clothing (including a leopard-print eyepatch) and a scratch and sniff card. We can't say what it smells of here..
Also new to Pimps is the inclusion of dual-wielding, the ability to carry and use two items at once. Imagine the thrill of combining a cane with a cutlass, or twin Pimp-goblets for double-Courvoisier action. Although balancing pimp paraphernalia is a challenge for the playtest team, the idea of carrying a cape and a bitch-slap gauntlet simultaneously, was too much to resist.
The bitch-slap gauntlet can also be used in Pimps at Sea's coolest new feature boarding! Simply pull alongside a rival Pimp's vessel, and take it over to expand your turf and dump suckas in the surf. This is a fast-track way to use bigger and better Pimp-craft in the game, although it will still be possible to acquire new craft by turning 'em out for quick profits.
