A federal judge ruled Thursday that the Department of Justice admitted to breaking the law by failing to release the majority of its files on Jeffrey Epstein to the public, giving acting Attorney General Todd Blanche a week to release more information.

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan wrote in his opinion that Blanche failed to address allegations from journalist Katie Phang that the Trump administration failed to release the files in full. Phang sued the DOJ in April over a “brazen, shocking, and ongoing violation” of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Congress passed last year.

Beatrice Keul, a former Miss Europe contestant who participated in the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant when she was in her 20s, says that Trump asked her a disturbing question after he allegedly assaulted her in the 90s: “Have you spoken to Jeff?”

Keul is one of dozens of women who have come forward to say that Trump sexually assaulted her, and she told Punch Up (a project of The Daily Beast) that Trump and his “closest friend,” convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, would use Trump’s ownership of the pageant as “a playground.”

“They knew exactly what they wanted. I was fresh meat,” she said.

Now 55, the former Miss Switzerland said that she was groped by Trump at the Plaza Hotel in November 1993 and that he threatened her to stop her from speaking out at the time, saying that “bad things can happen if you speak out.”
