Final Fantasy X-3 Announced for Cube
In a surprising move today, officials at Square Enix have indicated that the sequel to the wildly popular Final Fantasy X-2 will appear exclusively on the Nintendo GameCube. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, one key Square Enix official told Nintendojo, "Having already sold 2 million copies of Final Fantasy X-2 in Japan, we're very confident that we can recreate that kind of enthusiastic response for Final Fantasy X-3 in the audience we'll be creating with Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle."
What's perhaps more surprising is that Final Fantasy X-3 will feature Yuna, Rikku, and Paine in even more revealing outfits than before: new job classes like 'Enforcer' involve such scandalous outfits as leather strappings, tight shirts and hot pants, and string bikinis! While Rikku was already willing to bare most in X-2, Square Enix may be taking a page from Tecmo's Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball in catering to the 'mature' among the RPG crowd. When asked about the possible availability of cheat codes for Final Fantasy X-3, Datel indicated that it'd do everything possible to ensure that a 'nude code' is made available through its Action Replay device.
