MLB 13 The Show coming March 5, 2013

If you’re already missing the baseball season, we’ve got news to cheer you up: today we announced the North American release of MLB 13 The Show, the latest installment of the number-one selling and rated Major League Baseball video game franchise. Available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, MLB 13 The Show is due to arrive in stores on March 5, 2013, just in time for MLB Spring Training.

Nothing compares to Postseason baseball. That’s why The Show offers an All-New Playoff Mode, which includes an in-stadium atmosphere that replicates the excitement and tension of October baseball. The experience is unrivalled by anything The Show has ever exhibited.

In addition, the improved Play Now mode streamlines gameplay, for faster and simpler games. Taking The Show on the road? The PS Vita version of The Show features the same list of upgrades and new features as the PS3 version. As with last year, you can sync your Season, Franchise and Road to the Show saves between platforms to continue the action anywhere. Bin schon richtig gespannt auf den neuen Teil. Habe mir jetzt auch mal die Vita-Version von 12 bestellt, wird dann nächstes jahr direkt das Double-Pack.

Die Neuerungen klingen schonmal ganz gut, mal gucken was noch alles kommt.

Screens sehen gut aus, wie jedes Jahr.

Na Super, dann fehlt ja nur noch Vinnie und die Dodgers Familie ist komplett.

Finde gut, dass nun endlich mal die Community den Cover-Athlete auswählen darf. Im Januar gehts los.

Relativ unverändert würd ich mal sagen. Aus 12 mach 13.

Mal gucken wie es vom Gameplay anders wird, bis jetzt wurden ja noch keine Neuerungen bekanntgegeben. Playoffmode und Beginnermode brauche ich persönlich jetzt nicht.

sehr schön bei mir wirds natürlich Sabathia sein
Muß zugeben das ich von dem teil so kurz vor einer neuen gen nicht mehr so gehypet bin, will mir garnicht vorstellen was die geiles auf der PS4 aus der serie machen

Ich bin auch nicht gehyped. Bestelle es diesmal auch nicht mit DHL Express, habe die Vorbestellung Weihnachten getätigt. Diesmal ist es dann das Double-Pack mit PS3+Vita. Ich freu mich natürlich trotzdem, aber ich brauch es jetzt nicht pünktlich zum Release.

Ohja, auf der PS4 wirds gigantisch werden, da erhoffe ich mir dann doch einen extremen Sprung nach vorne.


Vote in diesem Fall für McCutchen. Einfach ein geiler Spieler. Wenn es Harper wird, storniere ich die Bestellung noch.

Ist das Cover diesesmal eigentlich wieder überall gleich? Oder kriegt CAN wieder ne Extrawurst? In dem Fall wäre dann ja evtl ein Ex-Marlin auf dem Cover... :rofl:

Ich finds richtig gut. Macht enorm viel Spaß, klar ist es auf der PS3 "anders" aber es macht mir auf der Vita auch viel Spaß. Bin auf 13 gespannt, ob es da grafisch einen Sprung macht.

Finde die Anzeige des Spielstandes endlich mal vernünftig. Gut. Wie ich das richtig verstehe in dem ersten Video, CAN wieder eigenes Cover? Sonst siehts für mich unverändert aus.

Russell hat auf die Frage "Kommt MLB 13 auch in den Playstation Store?" mit "Kein Kommentar" geantwortet. Das finde ich jetzt aber nicht gut.

Wird schon kommen. Wieso auch nicht? 12 kam doch auch in den Store. Die Datenmenge kann sich ja nicht so enorm verändert haben, dass es da Probleme geben könnte.

The news release said MLB 2K13 would be published on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Previous editions were published for every platform imaginable, from PC to the Nintendo DS and Wii.

Kotaku-News sollte man immer mit Vorsicht genießen. ;-)

2k hat die multiplatform rechte für MLB seit diesem jahr nicht mehr, und können daher eigentlich nur noch exclusiv entwickeln wenn sie ein MLB game machen wollen.
Deshalb konnte sony ja MLB the Show bringen da man nur für multiplatform die sehr teuren rechte braucht.
Also im GAF hab ichs jetzt auch so verstanden das es nur für die 360 kommt.
Keine ahnung, weiß nur das 2k letztes jahr offiziel meinte das sie ab 2013 die multiplatform recht nicht erneuern werden.
Hoffe EA kommt mit MVP baseball zurück ins spiel
