PS4/PS5/XOne/XSeries/PC The Dark Pictures Anthology (Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes, The Devil in Me)

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 30th 2019

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Supermassive Games are pleased to confirm the first installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology, Man of Medan, will be released on 30th August 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Digital.

Man of Medan is also available to pre-order from today at participating retailers - with players that do gaining exclusive Day 1 access to the Curator’s Cut - an alternative path from a new perspective.

Unlocked after completing the game once, the Curator’s Cut (which will be made available for free to all players at a later date) provides:

• A new perspective with alternative characters in previously played scenes

• New decisions and choices within each scene which change the story in different ways

• New scenes and new secrets not featured in the original playthrough

“The Curator’s Cut is different to the traditional Director’s Cut as it gives the player new ways to directly influence the story and its outcomes. Players will see and change events and relationships from the perspective of characters that weren’t under control in their first playthrough.” said Pete Samuels: Executive Producer, The Dark Pictures Anthology, Supermassive Games.

“It adds a whole new layer to how the player understands and interacts with the story in a way that’s never been done before, and we’re excited for people to experience it.”

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will launch on 30th August 2019, in both boxed and digital editions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Digital. Man of Medan will be voiced in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian.

Don’t play alone! Share the scares in newly unveiled Man of Medan multiplayer modes

Players will be able to team up to tackle horrors in online and offline multiplayer modes for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has today unveiled.

All games from The Dark Pictures Anthology, a series of narrative horror games developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, will feature two multiplayer modes in addition to the single player experience, starting with Man of Medan when it launches on 30th August 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Digital.

Shared Story Mode

• Share your story simultaneously with a friend in 2 Player online co-op

• Both players explore the world, make choices and actions that affect the outcome of the story and the fate of the characters you are playing

• Play through scenes from a different perspective to the single-player experience, sometimes together, sometimes apart in totally separate scenes revealing new information, locations and scares

• The decisions you and your friend make could be the one thing that keeps them all alive…

Movie Night Mode

• Play locally in a group of up to 5 players with one controller, pass the pad and play the character of your choice in turn

• Each player takes charge of the movement, decisions and choices of one of the five main characters

• Will you make decisions just to save your own character? Or try and keep everyone else alive?

• At the end of your playthrough, your actions and impacts throughout the playthrough will be judged – with achievements & rewards for each player

“We’re delighted to reveal two very different multiplayer modes ahead of the launch of the first title in The Dark Pictures Anthology. We know from fan reactions to Until Dawn, that multiplayer was a massively desired feature for Man of Medan, so we’re sure players will love tackling the horrors of the world from new perspectives” said Pete Samuels, Executive Producer and Series Director for The Dark Pictures Anthology at Supermassive Games.

“We designed Man of Medan, and every game in The Dark Pictures Anthology, from the very beginning with both single and multiplayer in mind. Now, in Shared Story Mode, players can experience two sides of the same scenes from completely different views – the actions of each shaping the story…and the fate…of the other.”

The Dark Pictures Anthology - Man Of Medan is now available to pre-order in both boxed and digital editions for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC Digital ahead of launch on 30th August 2019. The Dark Pictures Anthology - Man Of Medan will be voiced in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian.

Those that pre-order Man of Medan will receive early access to the Curator's Cut from launch. This mode, available once players have completed the game, features scenes playable from the other characters' perspective, with brand new choices and decisions to make. You’ll be replaying the whole story from different viewpoints and influencing the outcomes in different ways. The Curator’s Cut will subsequently be available for free at a later date for all players.

Eine ganze reihe und ein Teil 30 Euro. Geht
