Wann ist denn die nächste PK von Microsoft? TGS? Da zeigen sie sicher kein Halo und soweit ich weiß sagten sie auch, dass sie es noch 2008 zeigen wollen. Außerdem wäre es nicht schlecht wenn Microsoft irgendwas hätte um Sonys Auftritt zu kontern. Logisch betrachtet zeigen sie's entweder zur GC oder auf einem gesonderten Event.

vorletztes Jahr in Canada, davor in Barcelona, letztes Jahr gab es kein X Event, dafür gab es dieses Jahr den Microsoft Gamers Day im Mai

Nein, die haben sie komplett eingestampft. Das einzige MS-Event welches mir einfällt ist das Gamefest in Tokyo am 4.September. Das ist aber sowieso eine strenge Entwicklerkonferenz, da zeigen sie das bestimmt nicht.

Sie sagten ein jährliches Event wäre theoretisch möglich. Ich halte das aber irgendwie für unwahrscheinlich.

For the record, we have no plans to make any big announcements or huge reveals at PAX this year. While we will have some Halo 3 multiplayer stuff for you to check out, this is not going to be the "big announcement" many of our fans are clamoring for.

Also auf der PAX wird's auch nix dazu geben. Wobei Bungie eher so tut als wäre die Ankündigung noch weiter weg als man vermuten könnte. Sie hätten's gleich auf der E3 zeigen sollen, gab ja sonst eh nix außer Rendertrailern.

Imo kommt ziemlich sicher noch was vor Weihnachten. 2006 hat MS auch schon mit Halo 3 etwas Werbung gemacht.

SleepPlay's PS3 Game at Leipzig?

Out in Utah I know the team is scrambling to get a nice, sexy build of the game going for a Sony Dog and Pony next week. While I am sure I would drive some of them crazy if I was out there everyday- and the very successful, very functional alliance we’ve forged over the last 12 years would prob. not work with daily, real life connection- it’s times like these I WISH I was out there, so I could help with the crunch.

If they're showing it at GC 08 the press haven't been told. This is what Sony has said we will see behind closed doors:

Thursday- Ratchet&Clank: Quest for Booty
- MotorStorm Pacific Rift
- DC Universe Online (game announced at E3) – Sony Online
- Infamous
- Heavy Rain: the presentation will be the same as in E3, but there won’t be any embargo.
- Killzone 2: there will be exclusive multiplayer hands on in that meeting room (in the booth, there will be single playable code)

Friday:
- LittleBigPlanet
- Resistance 2: there will be exclusive hands on
- Free realms and The Agency (Sony Online games)
- Heavy Rain: the presentation will be the same as in E3, but there won’t be any embargo.
- Killzone 2: there will be exclusive multiplayer hands on in that meeting room (in the booth, there will be single playable code)


And normally they add "Unannounced game" on their if they were showing it when we are preparing what games and when to see them.

Hotel liegt direkt neben einer S-Bahn! Man fährt ca. 3 Minuten und schon ist man vor dem Messegelände!
Hatten ursprünglich für 8 Personen gebucht, leider fallen aber dieses Jahr 3 Mann aus!
Ich glaube es gibt kein Hotel das günstiger und näher an der Messe liegt!

Ich glaube pro Person würde das ca. 30 Euro inkl. Frühstück machen!
Das Datum andem das Zimmer frei ist wäre der 21-22 August -> das heisst ihr habt die BESTEN Tage der Games Convention - Nicht zu sehr überfüllt wie an den Wochenenden!

David Jaffe hat es im Gaf selbst dementiert aber trotzdem scheint er sehr aufgeregt zu sein, was sein nues Projekt betrifft^^

Hey ya'll- as for our new game, no, we re not showing it next week. Or next month. Or the month after that.

We're prob. a good 6-10 months away from letting anyone outside of Sony see it. And at that point, I have no clue if they will give it its own showing to the press or make it's unveiling a part of something like GDC or E3.

Will let ya'll know- hope you like what we are doing!

You mean OUR game? Not sure if you are talking about what we are working on. But if you are, hells no. We are just too early. This stuff takes time, man. But trust me, I'm dying to show it and talk about it and show off some of the amazing stuff the team has been up to.

Plus it's too early cause I'm also working on a big J Allard Extreme Makeover so the next time ya'll see me you'll be like: WTF??!?!? But I ain't there yet!

Just kidding...well, sort of...that would be cool....not to look like Moby or Michael Stipe, but to get all in shape and stuff like he did.
